FieldHalo Installation Network

Effective September 1, 2026

Terms of Service

These terms govern access to the FieldHalo directory, installer portal, leads, memberships, and related communications.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using FieldHalo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you act for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. What FieldHalo provides

FieldHalo operates a technology directory that helps customers discover independent installation providers. FieldHalo is not the installer, employer, agent, partner, franchisor, or guarantor of any listed provider. A listing, badge, ranking, verification indicator, or introduction is not a warranty of workmanship, licensing, insurance, availability, pricing, or suitability.

3. Installer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, current business, contact, service-area, and qualification information.
  • Maintain every license, permit, insurance policy, registration, and authorization required where services are performed.
  • Use leads and customer information only to respond to the requested service and comply with privacy and communication laws.
  • Perform work safely, professionally, and under a separate agreement directly with the customer.
  • Promptly correct inaccurate information and report compromised account access.

4. Customer responsibilities

Customers must independently evaluate installers, confirm credentials and insurance, agree on scope and price, and obtain required permits. Customers may not submit false, abusive, unlawful, or misleading requests.

5. Accounts and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and activity under your account. FieldHalo may require identity, business, or contact verification; reject misleading information; and suspend access when needed to protect customers, installers, the platform, or the public.

6. Memberships and billing

Paid memberships renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Prices, included features, and ranking rules may change prospectively. We will provide reasonable advance notice of a material price change. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not ordinarily create a refund. Our Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

7. Directory visibility

Visibility depends on approval, profile completion, membership or promotional eligibility, payment status, verification settings, location relevance, quality and safety controls, and other disclosed ranking factors. FieldHalo does not promise a minimum number of impressions, leads, jobs, or revenue.

8. Acceptable use

You may not impersonate another person, create fraudulent profiles or reviews, scrape or resell directory data, introduce malware, probe or bypass security, interfere with service, misuse customer information, send unlawful marketing, or use FieldHalo for illegal, discriminatory, deceptive, or abusive conduct.

9. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit and grant FieldHalo a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display it as necessary to operate and promote the directory. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide that content. FieldHalo branding, software, and original content remain protected by applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

FieldHalo may limit, hide, suspend, or terminate a profile for nonpayment, fraud indicators, inaccurate or unverifiable information, safety complaints, legal risk, misuse, or violation of these Terms. Automated safety actions may be reviewed by an administrator. Billing-only suspensions may be restored automatically after confirmed payment; other suspensions require review.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldHalo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free data, or the conduct or performance of any user or installer.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldHalo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, property damage, personal injury caused by an independent installer, or disputes between users. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid FieldHalo during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, business users agree to defend and indemnify FieldHalo from third-party claims arising from their services, content, legal violations, or misuse of the platform.

14. Governing law and disputes

Minnesota law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact support@fieldhalo.com and follow the Dispute Resolution Process. If informal resolution fails, exclusive venue lies in the state or federal courts serving St. Louis County, Minnesota, except where consumer law requires another forum.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be announced through the site, portal, or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions may be sent to support@fieldhalo.com.
